The Universal Aspirations of Student Politics
Student politics has historically played an important role in shaping political consciousness and nurturing future leadership. Political affiliations, ideological orientations, and national backgrounds may differ, but the aspirations of young political activists often have much in common. Young people in every country aspire to see their nation progress, achieve economic prosperity, ensure political stability, and provide its citizens with better education, employment, justice, and basic services. They dream of a country free from poverty, corruption, injustice, inequality, and other social and economic challenges.
